Changing your email

When you change your email from Profile, TermUp asks for your current password, updates the address, and sends a new verification email. You will need to verify the new address before continuing normal use.

SMS reminders

SMS reminders are tied to the phone number on your profile and your plan's SMS access. To receive SMS, you must add a phone number, verify it with a one-time code, and enable the SMS notifications toggle.

SMS is available on Free Trial (10/month) and Pro (150/month) plans. Standard plan is email only.

Opting out of SMS

You can opt out of SMS in two ways: toggle off SMS notifications in Profile, or reply STOP (or UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT) to any TermUp SMS. Replying STOP opts you out at the carrier level and takes effect immediately.

To re-enable SMS after replying STOP, text START to the TermUp number first, then return to Profile and re-enable the SMS toggle. The in-app toggle alone will not work until you text START, because the opt-out is enforced by the carrier.
