Supported file types
TermUp accepts PDFs and common image files including JPG, PNG, and WebP up to 15 MB. iPhone HEIC and HEIF photos are converted automatically during direct upload.
Some workspaces also support DOC and DOCX files when Word upload support is enabled. Supported cloud imports follow the same file rules as closely as possible.
Ways to bring in documents
- Drag and drop files on the Upload page for direct upload.
- Use Google Drive import after connecting Google Drive in Settings, if your plan includes it.
- Use Dropbox import after connecting Dropbox in Settings, if your plan includes it.
Plan-based limits to expect
Upload and import availability depends on your plan. TermUp can enforce daily upload limits, monthly AI processing page limits, and maximum pages per file.
If a file is too large, has too many pages for your plan, or would exceed your remaining AI processing quota, TermUp explains the issue before or during import. When the monthly AI processing limit is fully used, uploading is locked until the next quota reset.
What happens after upload
Each file gets an upload record and moves through extraction automatically. When review is ready, it appears in the Upload area so you can confirm the extracted details and turn it into a saved document.
