Why review matters
The extraction step is designed to save time, not replace judgment. Review is where you confirm high-impact fields like renewal date, cancellation notice, current price, vendor, and contact details before the document becomes live.
What the review screen includes
- A Document Details area for the final record values you want to save.
- A Review Fields area for AI-suggested values that still need human confirmation.
- Confidence badges you can hover or focus to see why a value looks stronger or weaker.
- Source text snippets that explain where the AI found each value.
- Inferred field warnings for values that were calculated instead of stated directly.
- Suggested action items that can become tasks.
- Category, service type, team, vendor, and payment method controls.
Why some fields may be blank
For critical fields like renewal dates, end dates, or cancellation timing, TermUp is intentionally conservative. If the document does not support a value clearly enough, the review screen may leave it blank instead of guessing.
Good review habits
- Always check renewal and cancellation timing against the actual contract language.
- Confirm whether the price shown is the current price, discounted price, or a legacy amount.
- Use the risks section to preserve notes that matter for negotiation or compliance.
- Create only the action items you actually want in the Tasks list.
