Available integrations
- Google Drive for importing contracts and documents.
- Dropbox for importing contracts and documents.
- Google Calendar or Outlook Calendar for live syncing renewal and deadline events on Pro.
- Slack for posting renewal and cancellation reminders to a selected Slack channel on Pro.
- Downloadable calendar files for adding key dates to other calendar apps that support `.ics` imports. Calendar file export is available on Standard and Pro.
How connection works
Google Drive, Dropbox, and Slack connections are started from Settings. Google Calendar and Outlook Calendar are connected from Profile. TermUp opens a provider authorization flow in a popup window and stores the connected status once the provider confirms access.
Where you use each integration
- After connecting Google Drive or Dropbox, import buttons appear on the Upload page if your plan includes those integrations.
- Live calendar sync is used when you want renewal or cancellation timing to stay updated in Google Calendar or Outlook Calendar in addition to TermUp reminders. If you use another calendar app, or you are on Standard, use Download calendar file from the document Add to Calendar menu to import a one-time `.ics` file.
- After connecting Slack, Slack appears as a reminder channel on document forms. Enabled Slack reminders post to the selected channel when renewal or cancellation reminder days arrive.
When to use live sync or a calendar file
Calendar options are helpful when you want renewal and cancellation timing visible alongside broader operational planning. They complement reminders instead of replacing them.
Google Calendar and Outlook Calendar can stay synced when TermUp dates change. Downloaded `.ics` files are one-time exports, so download a new file if the document dates change later.
